Everlasting Beauty owner Yasmeen Choudry gave away a haircut, manicure and eyebrow threading to three lucky winners at the recent ribbon cutting celebration for her new salon. The elegantly decorated facility located at 4545 Mission Blvd. was showcased to Chamber members and invited guests. Congratulatory certificates were presented to Yasmeen from representatives of Senator Negrete McLeod and Supervisor Gary Ovitt. Planning Commissioner Don Vodvarka presented on behalf of the City and also performed the ribbon cutting. Chamber President Yvonne DeLeon welcomed Yasmeen into the Chamber and everyone had a good laugh when bald Ambassador Mike Krolik opened the door and announced he was there for his haircut. An unexpected surprise came when a Montclair Fire Engine arrived and two of our newest firefighters joined us for lunch, saving the day by capturing a HUGE fruit fly that was terrorizing the ladies.
